The Last Kingdom actor Adrian Schiller has died "suddenly" aged 60, his agent has confirmed. The British actor was best known for playing rich ealdorman Aethelhelm in Netflix historical series The Last Kingdom and steward Cornelius Penge in ITV royal drama Victoria.

Former BBC executive Sir Paul Fox, who oversaw the launch of Dad's Army, has died at the age of 98, the corporation has announced. Sir Paul also launched other classic comedies including The Two Ronnies and talk show Parkinson. He also devised BBC Sports Personality Of The Year.

OJ Simpson, the former American football star who was controversially acquitted in 1995 of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in June 1994 has died aged 76.

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli, known for his animal prints on leather and textiles, has died aged 83. He set up his company in the 1970s. His designs have been worn by stars like Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Lopez.

Guitarist Duane Eddy has died at the age of 86. He had a string of hits in the late 1950s/early 1960s including Rebel Rouser, Peter Gunn and Because their Young.
On a personal note I went to see him in the early 1960s at the Liverpool Empire when he was on the bill with Clyde McPhatter, Emile Ford and the Checkmates and Bobby Darin.
Duane was a fantastic guitarist and his records were produced by Lee Hazelwood.

Bernard Hill, best known for his roles as Jimmy 'Yosser' Hughes in Alan Bleasdales 'Boys from the Blackstuff', Captain Edward Smith in the 1997 Oscar-winning film Titanic, and King Théoden in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy has died at the age of 79.
He also starred as Murray in Neil Fitzmaurices 2000 feature film Going Off Big Time

Peter Oosterhuis Ryder Cup golfer in thr 1970s has died aged 74.
