I have seen that and it got me thinking that this maybe the first time there has ever been a through train between Liverpool and Buxton. I take it the Hazel Grove turnbuckle will be 319 operated.

Northern have confirmed on their Facebook Page that from 12th March a Class 68 will replace one of the 37s on the Cambrian Coast

Reportedly ASLEF have stopped this on grounds of loss of work for Northern drivers.

A report elsewhere says 170475 and 170478 have now transferred to Northern with 170476 and 170477 due to arrive later this week

It's been reported 170476/7 are now Northern units as well
