It runs between Boldon and South Shields! Eurocabs run it.

I'd say, by the new ASDA would probably be the best place to take a picture, or Keppel Street.

The TB503 replaced the 558 between Boldon ASDA and Cotswolds Estate, when the 558 was extended to Heworth. The change only happened just a few weeks ago, so that's probably why you haven't heard of it.
The 'Taxi Bus' routes serve places a regular bus does not. They also operate where older people may need a service, etc.
