I don't really see it. Speke are supposed to be receiving the 12 surplus Enviro400s from Birkenhead once their hybrids are up and running, which presumably would allow a number of the Myllenniums to leave. It seems unlikely to me they'll accept 2456 or any of Bolton's at this stage. RE: Arriva North West - Bolton Depot - V671 DVU - 16/02/2013 19:48 If Speke do receive the Enviros from Birkenhead I can see both the earlier batch originally from Birkenhead and the trio at Bolton being transferred into Green Lane which will replace a number of Marshall Darts for resale/scrap. Highly unlikely deckers are coming to Green Lane as was once rumoured. RE: Arriva North West - Bolton Depot - H101GEV - 16/02/2013 19:59 I agree. St Helens is another potential destination for the Myllenniums. There are a few T-reg Darts still plugging away there in both Plaxton and Marshall flavours which were earmarked for withdrawal before the turn of the year. RE: Arriva North West - Bolton Depot - motormayhem - 16/02/2013 20:24 T reg darts are getting removed as and when the MOT's run out or if they get a major fault, then the marshalls may go towards the end of the year. RE: Arriva North West - Bolton Depot - J654UHN - 16/02/2013 20:35 Good old 7533 P-MBU Dart is outliving most of its newer sisters in service in Bangor so it just shows what abit of tlc and money can do RE: Arriva North West - Bolton Depot - MPTE1955 - 17/02/2013 10:06 (16/02/2013 20:35)J654UHN Wrote: Good old 7533 P-MBU Dart is outliving most of its newer sisters in service in Bangor so it just shows what abit of tlc and money can do Agreed, this example just makes a mockery of this daft 15 year rule that Arriva North West & Wales in particular seem to stick to, just shows that if a bus is looked after properly it can live on.
