RE: Halton Transport - merseybus - 18/12/2012 20:49 Service 26 is getting amalgamated with the service 13 which Halton are taking over the council contract beginning of February which is currently run by WCM. For this they have or currently in the process of buying 4 mini buses from Blackpool. RE: Halton Transport - mr t - 18/12/2012 21:24 The 26/26A are only every hour each. 26 will be Green Oaks, Milton Road, Dundalk Road, Ditcfield Road, Hough Green Station, Cherry Sutton, Cronton, Farworth, Widnes Waterfront, Green Oaks. 26A will be in reverse. RE: Halton Transport - GWD0595 - 18/12/2012 21:28 That's quite an interesting route - I don't suppose you have seen the full route, have you? ![]() I agree with what Rhys said though, I feel at present it's one of the more unusual services! RE: Halton Transport - F255ytj - 18/12/2012 21:37 New timetable is already on merseytravel website. RE: Halton Transport - K853 MTJ - 18/12/2012 21:44 The 26 is incorporating what is currently route 13, and should see WCM withdraw their subsidised operation of this service. 3 second hand vehicles should be on their way in order to operate this, most likely alongside #20. Credit to my usual source! RE: Halton Transport - mr t - 18/12/2012 22:03 The PVRs only 2! RE: Halton Transport - Valandil - 18/12/2012 22:21 (18/12/2012 21:24)mr t Wrote: The 26/26A are only every hour each. Thanks for that. The comment "Other Details: Mon to Sat Every 20 minutes as the enclosed timetable" only seems to appear when you search for registrations on the 13th Dec. If you just search for PC0001376/130 directly, no such thing is displayed. VOSA is quite strange like that. I wonder how much funding there is for this route, or sections of it. Especially in view of the Saturday 26 being reduced from 1 per hour to 0. Now it's going to be 2! RE: Halton Transport - K853 MTJ - 18/12/2012 22:54 (18/12/2012 22:03)mr t Wrote: The PVRs only 2! 2 second hand vehicles, one spare. The spare will most probably be in the depot or on service 2 with #20 when not on the 26. RE: Halton Transport - Raawwwrrr! - 18/12/2012 23:54 Ahar! My circular theorum! RE: Halton Transport - merseybus - 19/12/2012 07:57 30 and 33 getting.electronic destinations this morning. |
