RE: Selwyns Travel - First Class - 22/10/2012 23:34 I believe there are talks ongoing between Network Rail and Abellio/Merseyrail which would see a (small) dedicated Merseyrail rail replacement fleet. No idea on exact details, but was mooted because it is becoming harder - and more expensive to get vehicles during unexpected disruption. Not sure on the operator though! Presumably for it to work, Merseyrail would need to have some of the own PSV qualified staff. RE: Selwyns Travel - H101GEV - 23/10/2012 00:46 I actually think that would be an excellent idea. It's just a shame some/all of the YN51s have already been sold on. They'd be ideal for most replacements, either impromptu or planned. No idea how they operate them though... RE: Selwyns Travel - Jack - 23/10/2012 01:32 They are operated by Stagecoach aren't they? Or at least where, something tells me they no longer run buses, I could be wrong though! RE: Selwyns Travel - J654UHN - 23/10/2012 11:13 The 3 tri axles were sold off to Howards Travel Group but dunno if the other bueses were sold off RE: Selwyns Travel - james solomon - 07/11/2012 14:23 Anyone know where these Ex Haytons machines have gone to.
