Three car 175 sharing Liverpool service with 150285 - hadn't realised these were getting wifi and both three pin and USB sockets. Yes the plan is for all units to have WiFi/plug/usb points etc. 175002 is the first to enter service fully refurbished inside and out for TFW. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - childwallblues - 23/07/2019 18:10 175109 is still operating the LIV-CTR service. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - ant17612 - 26/07/2019 14:39 150254 has derailed in the yard at Chester. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - 313201 - 26/07/2019 16:10 That's going to cause some problems for stabling of units or if a railtour comes in. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 26/07/2019 21:08 Most of the December TfW service now in RTT, looks like three hauled Cardiff-Holyheads, although the mid-day service from Holyhead currently missing, but the Crewe turn reverting to dmu. It looks like some Chester-Salop fill-in trains still to appear - I first thought resourced by reducing Cambrian trains to two cars south of Shrewsbury, but one ecs shunt shown at Shrewsbury suggests it may be a reduction of through Pwllheli portions. ; At long last Llandudno and Conway Valley go year round on Sudays. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - wirralbus - 27/07/2019 16:22 Why has Llandudno especially been devoid of trains on Winter Sundays. I'm sure the business leaders will be welcoming there introduction with open arms. Winter services on a Sunday down the Conway Valley I'm just not sure there is the business when the Ffestiniog railway isn't running. Sounds like a TfW inspired aspiration for the tourist industry. RE: Transport for Wales Rail - mikestone - 27/07/2019 17:08 I must say a I think a more pressing requirement is for an improvement over the one train an hour, including the Virgin services, on the main line. ; Sunday Pwllheli-Aberystwyth goes from one a day in winter and three in summer to five all year, plus a couple of extra trains between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury - unless they have Sunday in the standard week that might be a struggle. I am looking at a service from Cardiff Central to Holyhead (1W91). http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/advanced/HHD/2019/12/17/1100-1500?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt&toc=AW What would be the return journey for this service? |
