One bus extends beyond Birkenhead Central to Ellesmere port and another one to chester.

There's also an additional replacement bus service between Hooton and Chester all day today (Sunday)

Oh and what for it next SATURDAY 21 Jan and SUNDAY 22 Jan , a rail replacement bus service will be in operation from Hooton to Chester
Further to this 5th February will have the rail replacement bus service extended to run between Chester and Liverpool .
Also on the 12th February there will be a rail replacement bus service from Rock Ferry to Liverpool .
This is all in addition to the track renewal work.
Sounds like Sundays could be interesting in the coming weeks with some of the Gemini's enjoying a stride out to some far flung places on the Wirral.

One of welsh coastline branding Gemini heading to Chester for rail replacement. I couldn't see fleet number too far away.

That would be 4481 as ive just took over the driver now at hooton as im on it till 00:37.

Which services are extended to Chester? I cant see any timetabled. I would like to jump on one please.

Arriva Birkenhead don't go to Chester anymore, it's only Stagecoach's 1 to Liverpool

Earlier on someone said that Arriva Rail Replacements were extending to chester. Those were the ones I would like to jump on. I know there isnt a proper service.

They where only operating weekends between hooton and chestervrailway station due to work being done on one of the bridges.
