RE: GHA Group (GHA Coaches, Bryn Melyn and Vale Travel) - Garsty - 19/03/2013 18:41 Any indication on what’s happening with the Presidents which were acquired? I understand that one of them has progressed to the paint shop ( I presume it is having GHA (low floor) livery. Second one is waiting its turn. They both arrived with the second door removed and additional seating fitted. Will be interesting to see what YJ09 EZK end up doing. RE: GHA Group (GHA Coaches, Bryn Melyn and Vale Travel) - DLG817 - 13/05/2013 19:49 . . New arrivals are :- GO54BCL - a Volvo B12B / Caetano Enigma C49Ft - new in Sept 2004 to Burton Coaches, Haverhill and still sporting their livery less decals. Judging by the tax disc it has not been in use for a while - photo here CW03XBD - Ford Transit - new in 2003 photo here A recent arrival - P50HWC - (Volvo B10M-62 / Caetano Algarve 11) has quickly entered service at the Middlewich depot. It can be confirmed that the former Pat's Coaches V896DNB (Dennis Dart / Plaxton) has finally left Ruabon to Lelo for scrap last month. From July the timetable for the '6' Ellesmere Port town service will change to a 20 minute frequency which will entail an extra vehicle to be allocated. Ron RE: GHA Group (GHA Coaches, Bryn Melyn and Vale Travel) - Garsty - 13/05/2013 20:04 Looks like GO54 BCL was bought at auction judging by the 'Lot #' on the windscreen. I take it B10 PTL received T316 UOX's engine and various other parts, would make sense I guess. One thing with GHA, you can never guess what they will buy next! Ron RE: GHA Group (GHA Coaches, Bryn Melyn and Vale Travel) - DVL418 - 13/05/2013 22:11 Weren't Burtons of Haverhill once part of the Arriva/TGM/OFJ Connections set-up and a former manager bought part of the fleet and 'Burton's Coaches' name - I think the actual O licence was in the name of Yellow Star? Is it this latest incarnation that ceased trading? |
