RE: Warrington's Own Buses - SK15 GZG - 23/10/2019 17:38 VDL 182 is the first decker to be repainted into the new livery Looks smart IMO RE: Warrington's Own Buses - ant17612 - 25/10/2019 12:56 (23/10/2019 17:38)Y474 KNF Wrote: VDL 182 is the first decker to be repainted into the new livery Seems to of been renumbered to 300 for some reason. Assume that the deckers they are keeping will be repainted and renumbered 3xx with the others phased out. RE: Warrington's Own Buses - johnluke - 25/10/2019 19:29 Slightly off topic gents but if when the franchises come to gm can warrington buses be involved in the franchise bidding ie the route 100 from warrington to manchester and other urban Manchester routes? Any help in this appreciated RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 26/10/2019 09:08 (25/10/2019 19:29)johnluke Wrote: Slightly off topic gents but if when the franchises come to gm can warrington buses be involved in the franchise bidding ie the route 100 from warrington to manchester and other urban Manchester routes? Any help in this appreciated If they meet the qualifying criteria I don't see why they can't bid but I think they would have to bid for a number of routes packaged together, rather than submitting a bid for one individual route. Wiil "Cat 5", Warrington - Altrincham still exist, when most of the route is outside GM territory ?? What services are cross border into and out of Greater Manchester (Can make a separate thread if needed if it’s too much of topic) RE: Warrington's Own Buses - knutstransport - 26/10/2019 19:54 (26/10/2019 18:47)darylyates17 Wrote: What services are cross border into and out of Greater Manchester (Can make a separate thread if needed if it’s too much of topic) There's loads. As well as the Cheshire routes there's a lot between West Yorkshire/Derbyshire and the eastern GM boroughs. I did hear something about GM franchised services running to Macclesfield. |
