I'm not sure if its emergency or permanent. I work for Fairbrothers and will be doing the 256 Thursday and Friday. We don't have any ex Howard's Darts. The four Darts we have are ex Impera.

Someone's Howards Dart was in St Helens this morning then? Late running Nuttal's service possibly then?

RE: Warrington Coachways - RSTurbo50 - 21/01/2014 21:03

I think they are doing a single early morning run on the 156 mate.....but we are doing the rest :-)

Timetable confirms that Nuttals and Fairbrothers are operating the 156 and Fairbrothers the 256.

Do Fairbrothers have an ex Howards Travel Dart as well then? I was too far away to ID it this morning but a Howards Travel livery Darts, was on the 156 with the usual window cards arond 08.40 so I assume this is the Fairbrothers working.

Fairbrothers don't have the ex Howards's Darts, Bennett's (Nuttall's) do. Presumably Fairbrothers will be using the old Impera Darts recently purchased. Curious to see that this is the first real formal out of the Warrington area for Fairbrothers. Must be quite a lucrative contract to make them spread their wings in such a way?

At the moment one of our ex Impera Darts is on there.

RE: Warrington Coachways - RSTurbo50 - 22/01/2014 08:38

Yeah they have been removed. I think it's F2 which is being used.

Noted this morning on one of Warrington Coachways College contracts was Howards P531EFL. Have they lost more work?

It all depends on the circumstances surrounding the contract. If Fairbrothers are running it as an emergency contract then it will be lucrative although they may only have it for a matter of weeks before a permanent operator is found.
