It looks like vehicles and drivers from Chester depot will be operating the reduced Route 1 Wrexham to Chester and Route 5 Wrexham to Llangollen from tomorrow.

Arriva have taken the decision to close Wrexham depot from tonight due to the Covid outbreak.
Only special timetables on routes 1, 5 and X51 will operate. Arriva Oswestry 2, 2A and 2C will operate as normal.
Arriva are looking to get other services running from other depots asap.

From what I've seen on social media both 1 & 5 services which are being run by Chester Depot at the moment are interworking at Wrexham, obviously Chester Drivers would know 1 but would have had to have had driver training on 5s.
Certainly gives Chester Depot drivers a nice run out instead of staying in Chester all the time.

I can't see any reason why you can't get a Cadet on route 3.
I live along the route, and there were 10.7M darts on it for a few years, interworking with the 33. There's been Versa's, Double Deckers and I've even seen the odd Pulsar and Myllennium on it when they have been on loan to Wrexham in the past.
There was a plan to bring some Cadets to Wrexham a few years ago, and Afoneitha estate was cut from the 3 for this reason, to make the route more accessible for larger vehicles. But plans change and the cadets went elsewhere.
