RE: Colas Rail - ant17612 - 28/05/2017 11:04 37099 has blown a piston whilst working a test train up in Scotland. It could quite easily mean it is withdrawn due to non cost effective repair, 421 has just had a power unit replacement. Await further developments. RE: Colas Rail - ant17612 - 03/06/2017 06:49 At Barrow Hill a replacement power unit has been sourced for 37099. It is said to be in stock and therefore will not affect the ongoing overhaul of 37207. RE: Colas Rail - ant17612 - 08/06/2017 22:12 A class 60 will attend the East Lancashire Railway's diesel gala next month. RE: Colas Rail - ant17612 - 08/08/2017 18:04 At Barrow Hill, HN Rail are prepping and repainting 37612 for long term hire. The rebuilt power unit for 37099 is progressing well and should be dropped into the loco during September. It has been on hire to Colas since April 2016. RE: Colas Rail - ant17612 - 22/01/2018 14:37 (21/01/2018 19:01)ant17612 Wrote: 37025 is off hire as of tomorrow and returns home to Bo’ness.
