Maybe a hospital connect service would work in somewhere like Cheshire where running regular buses every 10-15 minutes would be unsustainable but running them every 60-120 minutes doesn't really work well for people who have to attend appointments at fixed times. Now it does work but it not a bus service it a taxi service and so has to be seen as that uber makes it work in London but even them don1t want to take it outside of London. Arriva Click is really Viavan but Arriva wanting to own the minibus now even Viavan ended up in London using minicabs. https://www.viavan.com/ now what also does not work is the price as if there travelling alone you save but in many cases after 1 person your better just calling a taxi. Now I remember in 90s Manchester had a bus route that would route off route to pick people up. so maybe it would work for a route round along a trunk route but has the freedom to call at local villages along the trunk road into a town |
