RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - mr t - 15/12/2013 13:33 There are quite a few "extras" being run of a weekend on the 79/82/86s as there has been about 3/4 "random" vehicles allocated to them all over the last few weekends - I think they are being run to maintain service levels due to increased congestion and demand. Hence why lots keep turniing up in 3s! RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - childwallblues - 17/12/2013 16:49 Boneshaker 2477 was out on the 79 today. We boarded it at Lord Street and after picking up at Queen Square the driver decided to take the bus out of service at the Adelphi. You wouldn't mind but whilst we were waiting for his decision an empty 79D passed us. Next bus was a 173 which picked up a load that had been on the 79. I wonder if they knew its route. The following 79C and 79 were both pretty full, thankfully the 79D had plenty of room on it. On our way home I noted a DAF Myllenium out on the 79. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - Conbus - 17/12/2013 20:18 I have heard that 3 wright gemenis will be transferres to the rhyl depot in 2014 RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - MPTE1955 - 17/12/2013 20:57 I had 4129 on 81 this morning, this and a myllenium turned up together, a few people including myself went for 4129 although probably due to the myllenium having most seats taken up, anyway what a nice ride that 4129 is this, a nicer ride to work than usual. I reckon this is for the 86/86a route RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - jtd508110 - 18/12/2013 10:27 When are they coming to speke? RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - mr t - 18/12/2013 11:47 The 86 needs like 20 buses! RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - wirralbus - 18/12/2013 12:21 Sounds like in 2014 that Speke will have a hotch-potch of double deckers , if all those plans play out . RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - MPTE1955 - 18/12/2013 13:08 I think we need to wait and see until we know for certain, bearing in mind how many dodgy rumours that you get on here from time to time. |
