Im after finishing off the Cadet fleet list (only need 6 more in total.) RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot - SK15 GZG - 24/11/2018 13:54 I saw 2480 going up Green Lane with "Private Hire" on the destination screens about 20 minutes ago RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot - cx04axy - 06/12/2018 22:12 2650 - withdrawn due to bad RTA 4190 - withdrawn 687 - pending withdrawal damage underneath vehicle. RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot - Y727 KNF - 07/12/2018 06:46 Are you sure they're withdrawn and not just waiting repairs ? Also 921 is back here but permanently this time RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot - LJ51 DDA - 07/12/2018 22:33 (07/12/2018 06:46)Y727 KNF Wrote: Are you sure they're withdrawn and not just waiting repairs ? Seems quite odd doesn't it a bus not even 10 being 'withdrawn' for some damage. From the photographs I’ve seen it sustained substantially head on damage. I believe there is also damage to the offside of the vehicle as well RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Bangor Depot - Barney - 08/12/2018 09:59 (07/12/2018 22:33)LJ51 DDA Wrote: Seems quite odd doesn't it a bus not even 10 being 'withdrawn' for some damage. The age of the vehicle is only one factor when a decision is taken to withdraw and scrap a vehicle after an RTA. If the damage is beyond economic repair (such as a twisted chassis) it will be scrapped. In the past, there have been cases where buses have been involved in RTAs and have been scrapped despite only being months old. Does not seem to be mentioned that is been involved in an RTA, seems as though its just received some damage underneath and its being withdrawn, seems a little odd. |
